Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of CashLix and every sell order you place. By creating an order you accept them. Please read them — they are short and in plain language.
1. Who can sell
You must be 18 or older, the lawful owner of the device (or authorised by the owner to sell it), and able to receive pickup at an address we serve. We currently operate doorstep pickup in Bengaluru.
2. Quotes & pricing
- Your online quote is calculated from the model, variant and the condition answers you provide. It is an offer based on your description, not a final price.
- The quote is locked for the stated validity period (shown with your quote) once you schedule a pickup.
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹). Pickup is free — there are no charges or deductions except a revaluation as described below.
3. Verification & revaluation at pickup
- Our agent inspects the device at pickup. If its actual condition matches your answers, you are paid the locked quote.
- If the condition differs (for example an undisclosed crack or a non-working function), the agent will offer a revised quote. You are free to accept or reject it — if you reject, we simply leave the device with you at no cost.
- We may decline a device that is counterfeit, reported lost or stolen, iCloud/Google-locked, or materially different from what was described.
4. Payment
Payment is made in full at pickup, after verification, via your chosen method — UPI, bank transfer or cash. Digital payouts are initiated on the spot; banks may take a short time to reflect the credit. Make sure the payout details you enter are correct — a transfer completed to the details you supplied is a valid payment.
5. Ownership & your responsibilities
- You confirm the device is genuinely yours, free of any lien, finance lock or dispute, and not stolen. Selling a device you do not own may be reported to authorities.
- Before handing over the device: sign out of all accounts (Apple ID / Google account), disable activation locks, remove SIM and memory cards, and back up anything you need. Once collected, data on the device cannot be recovered.
- Ownership of the device transfers to CashLix when payment is completed at pickup.
6. Data erasure
Every purchased device undergoes certified data erasure before resale or recycling. This is a safety net, not a substitute for the steps in section 5 — CashLix is not responsible for data you leave on the device or on removed accessories.
7. Cancellations & rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule a pickup any time before the agent collects the device, from your orders page — free of charge. We may cancel an order if the address is unserviceable, the device cannot be verified, or we suspect fraud.
8. Service limits & liability
We provide the service on a best-effort basis. Our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
9. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-forum rights you hold.
